My wife says I play too hard. I’ve had 6 surgeries and broken/bruised ribs at least 3 times. My dad always said, “You can do it! Just work harder.” So I’ve always played (running, weightlifting, biking, etc) harder than I should. But it’s also that mentality that got me through 28 years of marriage (so far!), two kids, two grandchildren, a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, and a doctor’s degree. So it has it’s benefits, too.
I want, more than any other thing, to be in intimate communion with my Father in Heaven. And…no more surgeries.
I like the title. Is it supposed to make me think?
